“It’s not enough to write an occasional blog post, it’s not enough to post on Facebook once a week, and it’s not enough to send out a random email on Black Friday.” – Sincerely, the internet.

While this may be true, it doesn’t help us business owners to just simply hear the words “It’s not enough” over and over again. As a business, this is what we hear or it’s what we tell ourselves. What happens next? We shut down and resort to excuses about why we don’t have the time or money to produce good or timely content.

What makes a company’s marketing successful? Their content strategy.

In this session, you’ll learn:

  • How to build a content strategy that works for YOU.
  • What tools and resources you can use to curate effective content.
  • Why creating content just for search engines (SEO) is potentially hurting your brand.

Skot’s new focus is on small businesses. His proven process and extensive experience are now being used help them clarify their message, develop their brand, and bring more structure to their marketing. Skot’s heard story after story of small businesses feeling lost or taken advantage of by fly-by-night “marketing companies”. He’s here to be their advocate and empower them to build something they can be proud of.
